Boynton Beach Haunted Pirate Fest & Mermaid Splash
The Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) proudly announces the 5th Annual Haunted Pirate Fest & Mermaid Splash on Saturday, October 22 and Sunday, October 23 in downtown Boynton Beach. The Haunted Pirate Fest drew thousands of people of all ages to Downtown Boynton Beach last year to enjoy a variety of swashbuckling adventures. This Free fest is located along E. Ocean Avenue between Seacrest Blvd. and Federal Highway on Saturday 11am – 10 pm Sunday and 11 am – 7 pm.
Pirate Fest will open with a concert on Friday, October 21 from 6-10 pm at the Ocean Ave. Amphitheatre.
During Pirate Fest, East Ocean Avenue will be transformed into Hobb’s Cove, a bustling old world port brimming with pirate superstitions of the ship wrecks off the coast of Boynton Beach and Forbidden Island, a mysterious oasis where the sirens of the sea lure you into the depths with their song. This lively event features 10 stages of continuous live music, children’s activities, pirate stunt shows and the enchanted market. The event will also feature a Schoolhouse Spooktacular presented by the Schoolhouse Children’s Museum.
The CRA invites everyone to come in costume and participate in the “pirate/mermaid nostalgic maritime” theme and celebrate Boynton Beach’s signature event!
